Mark Ryden at the Frye

"I am attracted to things that evoke memories from childhood….I believe in letting imagination thrive in my art. I am not afraid of nostalgia or sentiment. I value taking the time to make a painting beautiful. I want to breathe life into my paintings." — Mark Ryden

Mark Ryden's work will be on display from November 19, 2004 - February 13, 2005 at the Frye Museum, which is one of Seattle's only free art museums. His work is amazing so get your fannies over there and take a lookie.
