NaNoWriMo is comin' up

National novel writing month (aka NaNoWriMo) is comin' up this November. Last year on November 1st, 28,000 crazy people from all over the world participated in this event with each person attemping to write a 175 page/50,000 word novel in 30 days. Why you ask? Well . . . because it's a lot of fun and there's no pressure because the goal is quantity, not quality. Me and Dr. Menlo participated last year, but didn't quite make it over the finish line. We hope to redeem ourselves this year.

Just between you, me and the trees I found I had great inspiritation in the wee hours. I turned my schedule on its head and made my prime productive hours before dawn. It worked really great for me and I completed, umm... like 6 chapters in my test novel before I knew it. Something like 10-14 days. Seriously.
Maybe if you want to really pounce on this shit it may help to realign your life. After all, Kerouac said the only way to finish a novel was to stick with it with the concentration of a benny addict. Maybe you follow where I'm going with this. Allow yourself to reconfigure your poles, maybe. Nothin' but love here, 'luck Pagan
